After flying high against Stivers School for the Arts last Friday, Harvest Prep came back down to earth. The Harvest Prep Warriors received a blow on Monday as they fell 57-43 to the Big Walnut Golden Eagles. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Harvest Prep still got an impressive performance from Adjoa Acheampong, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Israelle Smith, who earned 12 points.

Harvest Prep's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12. As for Big Walnut, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Harvest Prep will square off against Urbana at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Big Walnut, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-21 victory against Worthington Kilbourne on the 4th.
