Volleyball Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Greene County Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on August 5th.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Greene County, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne County will face off against Quitman at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greene County, they will take on Forrest County Agricultural at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
