Preview: Marshall Rams vs. Churchill Chargers
The Marshall Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Churchill Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
After soaring to 33 points the game before, Marshall were a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 42-7 loss at the hands of Johnson. Marshall was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
Jalen Glover put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 142 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Churchill fell victim to Reagan's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Rattlers 38-0. Churchill's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Churchill, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 4-4.
Marshall might still be hurting after the 29-3 loss they got from Churchill in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Will Marshall have more luck at home instead of on the road?
