Volleyball Recap: Osceola Wins Going Away Against Green Ridge

Osceola not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Green Ridge Tigers. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Osceola took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-10.

Leah Crowder paced Osceola's offense, picking up 11 kills. Crowder got some help from Roz Snider and her 13 assists. Snider was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Osceola's win bumped their record up to 7-5-3. As for Green Ridge, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osceola will host Archie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green Ridge, they will square off against Otterville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
