Softball Recap: Grove City Eagles vs. Jamestown Muskies
Grove City hadn't done well against Jamestown recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Muskies. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 14-1 win the Muskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
Kara Kirk spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 12 hits.
At the plate, Lily Rihel was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Hallie Rihel, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
