Football Recap: Brady Carraher and Landyn Carraher Pace Riverside Defense

Riverside fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Osceola on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 36-30 to the Bulldogs. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Riverside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brady Carraher and Landyn Carraher.

Brycen Kula produced another solid effort rushing for 114 yards and four touchdowns, while also picking up 30 receiving yards for Osceola. The Bulldogs also got a significant boost from Jackson Winslow, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 125 yards.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Osceola, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Riverside is set to challenge their familiar foe Howells-Dodge at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Osceola will square off against rival Archangels Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
