Baseball Recap: Stockdale Takes a Loss

Stockdale fell victim to Goliad and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 19-0. If the Brahmas were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in February of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stockdale has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-1 record this season. As for Goliad, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Stockdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Karnes City on the 1st. As for Goliad, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-4 defeat against Sinton on the 29th.
