O'Connor lost to Harlan back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers fell 65-58 to the Hawks.

When it comes to explaining why O'Connor lost, don't look at Hagen Hurst. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Hurst's 21st in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Bilyeu, who shot 63% from the field en route to 12 points.

Harlan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was London Jackson out in front who went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points and eight boards. Amoni Francis was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

O'Connor's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Harlan, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
