Baseball Recap: Rocket City Rockets vs. Riverside Christian Academy
Rocket City scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Riverside Christian Academy 21-4. Winning may never get old, but Rocket City sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Braden Powless made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Powless was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base.
In other batting news, Gavin Bulmer was incredible, going 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. Timmy Hays was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing three bases.
Rocket City's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Riverside Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Rocket City will be playing at home against Mt. Pleasant Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Riverside Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
