Ashland proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hodgdon Hawks 11-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 last Wednesday.

Ashland is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Hodgdon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, Ashland will head out to face off against Wisdom at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hodgdon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Fairfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
