Basketball Recap: Middletown's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Middletown lost to Red Hook back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Middletown Middie Bears came out on top against the Red Hook Raiders by a score of 50-41. Given the Middie Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Raiders are ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Middletown's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Red Hook, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

As of now, neither Middletown nor Red Hook have any future games scheduled.
