Basketball Recap: Dekalb Skates Past Rockford East with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Huntley, DeKalb was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They breezed by the Rockford East E-Rabs to the tune of 52-6. The match marked the Barbs' most dominant win of the season.

DeKalb has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Rockford East, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeKalb will head out to challenge Naperville North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Naperville North is on a three-game streak of home wins, DeKalb a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Rockford East, they are taking a road trip to square off against McHenry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
