Poly skates past Edmondson-Westside with ease

Recap: Poly Engineers vs. Edmondson-Westside Red Storm

The Poly Engineers stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Edmondson-Westside 78-29 at home. Winning may never get old, but Poly sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Poly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mickelle Lowry, who scored 12 points along with two steals. S. Brown was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Poly's win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Edmondson-Westside, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Poly won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Coppin Academy at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th. One thing working in Poly's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Edmondson-Westside will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Benjamin Franklin on February 8th.
