Baseball Recap: Salome Comes Up Short

Salome lost against Anthem Prep back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Frogs lost 23-5 to the Eagles. The Frogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Salome's record now sits at 1-7. As for Anthem Prep, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Salome will challenge Antelope at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Anthem Prep, they will face off against Lincoln Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lightning have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
