Volleyball Recap: South Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South lost against East back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bison came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 3-0. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While South was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into East's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.

East can attribute much of their success to Mckenna Waters, who had nine digs and seven assists. That's the most digs Waters has posted over her last seven contests.

South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for East, they pushed their record up to 14-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. After both having extra time off, South and Laramie will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East, they will venture away from home to challenge Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
