Baseball Recap: Riverdale Baptist Victorious

Riverdale Baptist picked up another tournament win on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the South Wake Sabres 3-2.

Riverdale Baptist's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was RILEY BLOUNT, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most RBI BLOUNT has posted since back in March.

Riverdale Baptist has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Wake, their record is now 8-14.

As of now, neither Riverdale Baptist nor the Sabres have any future games scheduled.
