Baseball Recap: Ellison Comes Up Short

Ellison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Chaparral Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

Ellison saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Rivera, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Ellison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Chaparral, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-12-2.

As of now, neither Ellison nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
