Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ninety Six Wildcats, falling 12-3.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Ninety Six, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Clinton has already played their next game, a 7-4 defeat against Chester on the 25th. As for Ninety Six, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Saluda on the 25th.
