Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Quakers vs. DeWitt Panthers

The Eastern Quakers will challenge the DeWitt Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern has given up an average of 57.3 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastern is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 75-69 victory over Michigan Center on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Quakers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, DeWitt suffered their biggest loss since December 9, 2025 on Friday. They were beaten by Waverly 87-54. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for DeWitt, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-13.

Eastern was able to grind out a solid win over DeWitt when the teams last played on February 5th, winning 49-40. Will the Quakers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
