King's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Newsome, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

King didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Durant on the 18th. As for Newsome, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Plant on the 19th.
