River Valley and Odyssey Institute are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Dust Devils will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Minotaur at 7:00 p.m. River Valley will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

The Dust Devils enjoyed a cozy 64-50 win over the Patriots on Wednesday. While the Dust Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Odyssey Institute was beaten by Bourgade Catholic 82-39 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Minotaur in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Odyssey Institute's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

River Valley and Odyssey Institute were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but River Valley came up empty-handed after a 54-53 defeat. Can the Dust Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
