Basketball Game Preview: Brevard Blue Devils vs. Hibriten Panthers

The Brevard Blue Devils will head out to challenge the Hibriten Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brevard has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 21.

Brevard is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since January 24, 2025 last Friday. They fell just short of Pisgah by a score of 48-46. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Bears are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Hibriten came up short against East Rutherford on Friday and fell 72-59. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hibriten's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Brevard, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.
