Volleyball Recap: Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Takes a Loss

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the LEAD Academy Panthers.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Valor College Prep on the 10th. As for LEAD Academy, they will take on Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th.
