The Wayne Hills Patriots will be staying on the road to face off against the Wayne Valley Indians at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Wayne Hills earned a 41-33 win over Hawthorne.
Meanwhile, Wayne Valley can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on West Milford with a sharp 66-45 victory. The win was familiar territory for Wayne Valley who now have seven in a row.
It was another big night for Omar Ali, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Anthony Apicella, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Wayne Hills' victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Wayne Valley, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5.
Wayne Hills couldn't quite finish off Wayne Valley in their previous meeting back in January and fell 49-46. Can Wayne Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
