Volleyball Recap: Anoka Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rogers, Anoka was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Forest Lake Rangers 3-0. The Tornadoes not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 5th (when they won 3-0).

Anoka was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-17, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Mark Mosneguta and Nathaniel Lindberg, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Skyler Lor and his 19 assists. Finally, Noah Youngquist kept Anoka's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Anoka pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Forest Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Anoka is taking a road trip to square off against Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Forest Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
