Preview: Durant vs. Cardinal
On Friday Cardinal take on Durant at 7:00 PM.
After a string of three wins, Cardinal's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-53 to Pekin. Cardinal's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
Meanwhile, Durant took their matchup against Belle Plaine by a conclusive 38-16 score. Durant were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Durant's win lifted them to 3-2 while Cardinal's defeat dropped them down to 3-2. We'll find out if Durant can add another positive mark to their record or if Cardinal can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Durant's step.
