Basketball Recap: West Ashley Skates Past Stratford with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Ashley had no problem doing just that on Monday. They breezed past the Stratford Knights to the tune of 67-36. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

West Ashley found their leader in sophomore Jackson Terrell, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Terrell has scored all season. Trevon Brown also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

West Ashley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.

West Ashley's record now sits at 16-10. As for Stratford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
