Softball Recap: Gibson County Pioneers vs. Obion County Rebels
Gibson County can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Obion County Rebels a 5-0 shutout. The Pioneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.
The result came thanks to Hannah Prestininzi's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Andrea Criswell was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chloe Allmon, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
