Soccer Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian Lions. That's two games in a row now that Lutheran have lost by exactly three goals.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Lutheran will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Mac at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian, they will face off against Decatur Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian are facing Decatur Eisenhower at the right time seeing as Decatur Eisenhower are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
