Baseball Recap: San Clemente Gets the Win

San Clemente won the last time they faced El Dorado and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tritons walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Golden Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tritons.

Colin Dobbs got the start for San Clemente and what a start it was: he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, San Clemente saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dax Conrad, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Conrad is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Barrett Wood, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

San Clemente's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for El Dorado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

San Clemente didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-2 loss against Great Oak on the 20th. As for El Dorado, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Villa Park on the 20th.
