Baseball Recap: Gateway Olympians vs. Overland Trailblazers
Gateway won the last time they faced Overland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Olympians walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Trailblazers.
Mervin Loya was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Gateway is 5-1 when Loya posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jakob Petersen, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
