Basketball Recap: Olympus' Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Olympus won the last time they faced East, and Joss Baker did her part to make sure it happened again. The Olympus Titans came out on top against the East Leopards by a score of 53-44 on Tuesday thanks in part to Baker, who went 9 of 17 en route to 25 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season.

Ava Jorgensen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

Despite the loss, East still got an impressive performance from Jaylah Dulin, who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Aundrea Dennett, who scored eight points and six steals.

Olympus' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6. As for East, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Olympus will challenge Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olympus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. As for East, they are taking a road trip to take on Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Brighton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
