Lemont won the last time they faced Blue Island Eisenhower and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lemont HS came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lemont HS as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lemont never let Blue Island Eisenhower on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-23.

Lemont's victory bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lemont will venture away from home to take on Oak Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they will challenge Bloom at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
