Derby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the O'Brien RVT Condors, falling 64-35. One positive for the Red Raiders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

O'Brien RVT's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Garrett Johnson, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Those 21 points gave Johnson a new career-high. Landon Weller was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 13 points and five assists.

Derby's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for O'Brien RVT, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Derby will square off against Woodland Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for O'Brien RVT, they will head out on the road to challenge Platt RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
