Football Recap: Woodsboro Comes Up Short on the Road Against Bloomington + How To Watch

Woodsboro had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats 47-8. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bobcats/Lady Cats: they've now lost four in a row.

Woodsboro didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of John Baker and Isaiah Maxwell.

Bloomington found their leader in sophomore Ayden Gardner, who rushed for 109 yards and three TDs on only seven carries.

Woodsboro has already played their next matchup, a 28-12 defeat against Charlotte on the 5th. As for Bloomington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-20 victory against Louise on the 5th.
