Soccer Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Gets the Win

Scottsdale Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They beat the Yuma Criminals by a goal, winning 3-2.

Nate Ratay and Sterling Thiessen scored all three of Scottsdale Christian Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Yuma, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Scottsdale Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against McClintock on the 7th. As for Yuma, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southwest EC at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th. Yuma's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
