Baseball Game Preview: Saranac Redskins vs. Fowler Eagles

Saranac is 2-8 against Fowler since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Redskins will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

Monday just wasn't the day for Saranac's offense. They lost 8-0 to Dansville on Monday.

Meanwhile, while Fowler put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Potterville. The Eagles walked away with a 3-0 win over the Vikings. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Drew Weber, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Noah Schafer also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

The win got Fowler back to even at 2-2. As for Saranac, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Saranac might still be hurting after the 9-2 defeat they got from Fowler in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Redskins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
