Baseball Recap: Sky View Comes Up Short

Sky View managed to slip by Mountain Crest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bobcats came up short against the Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 9-0.

Sky View has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Mountain Crest, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sky View is set to square off against their familiar foe Green Canyon at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mountain Crest will challenge rival Ridgeline at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 2.1, the Riverhawks 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
