Volleyball Recap: Butte Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Butte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Capital Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Butte took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-22.

Avery Barsness paced Butte's offense, picking up nine kills. Barsness got some help from Ellison Graham and her 26 assists. Makenzie Dayhuff and Gracie Jonart kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Capital, with the victory, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-13.

As of now, neither Butte nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
