Volleyball Recap: Grand Blanc Takes a Loss

Grand Blanc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Hills Northern Huskies. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Abigail Rhoads paced Grand Blanc's offense, picking up four kills. Rhoads got some help from Ella Stevenson and her nine assists.

Grand Blanc's loss dropped their record down to 8-19-2. As for Forest Hills Northern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7-1 record this season.

Grand Blanc has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Northville on the 11th. As for Forest Hills Northern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Utica Eisenhower on the 11th.
