Basketball Game Preview: West Park Panthers vs. Antelope Titans

West Park is 0-3 against Antelope since November of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The West Park Panthers will host the Antelope Titans at 7:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when West Park duked it out withDestiny Christian Academy on Wednesday. West Park took a 62-48 bruising from Destiny Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Lions are ranked 120th).

Meanwhile, Antelope was able to grind out a solid win over McClatchy on Wednesday, taking the game 80-70.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Malichai Brown and Kai Bradford. Brown had a solid game and posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Meanwhile, Bradford was balling out in the loss, going 9 of 20 on his way to 32 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Antelope has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for West Park, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.
