Volleyball Recap: Foothill Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Saturday. Foothill had just enough and edged out College Prep 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Foothill who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 15-6.

Jaymes Arnold was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 19 assists and seven digs. Morgan Wiley also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Foothill's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. As for College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Foothill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against San Domenico on the 13th. As for College Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Carondelet on the 13th.
