Volleyball Recap: Clay County Panthers vs. Nicholas County Grizzlies
Clay County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nicholas County Grizzlies. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Clay County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Nicholas County, their win bumped their record up to 14-21-2.
Clay County will square off against Hurricane at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nicholas County, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Shady Spring at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
