Volleyball Recap: Mount St. Mary Academy Find Success

Mount St. Mary Academy posted their closest victory since September 6th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the West Seneca East Trojans.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Mount St. Mary Academy who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28.

Isabella Kilonsky paced Mount St. Mary Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Kilonsky got some help from Claire Gaulin and her seven assists.

Mount St. Mary Academy now has a winning record of 8-7-1.

Mount St. Mary Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Newfane on the 27th. West Seneca East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
