 The Harrison County Thorobreds will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against the Highlands Bluebirds at 5:30  p.m. Harrison County will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
 Harrison County has not done well against Lexington Catholic recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Harrison County came out on top in a nail-biter against Lexington Catholic  and snuck past  4-3.
  Isabella Persinger spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks. Those seven  innings set a new season-high mark for her.
 On the hitting side, Harrison County's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Marissa Taylor, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.  Shyanne Ross was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Highlands aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game  on Monday extended their overall winning streak to three. They were the clear victor by  a  14-4 margin over Scott.
