Basketball Game Preview: Jacksonville Titans vs. Catholic Rockets

The Jacksonville Titans will take on the Catholic Rockets in a holiday battle at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Catholic took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jacksonville, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Jacksonville turned things around against Parkview on Friday. Everything went their way against the Patriots as they made off with a 70-48 win. The Titans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Catholic was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 44-43 to Greenbrier. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Jacksonville's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Jacksonville beat Catholic 49-41 in their previous meeting back in February. Does Jacksonville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Catholic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
