Cambridge waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Madison East Purgolders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.

Ana Lothe paced Cambridge's offense, picking up eight kills. Lothe got some help from Addison Jerman and her 15 assists. Jerman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Macy Robinson, each putting up three.

Cambridge's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Madison East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Cambridge will host Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison East, they will head out on the road to challenge Sun Prairie East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
