Baseball Recap: Rosewood Drops Season-High Score on Union

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rosewood). They were the clear victor by a 21-1 margin over the Union Spartans on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Cam Rye was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Joseph Lund was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Rosewood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .733. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

Rosewood pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Union, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
