Recap: First Baptist Academy Eagles vs. Faith Academy Cougars
The First Baptist Academy Eagles waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 69-50 victory over Faith Academy. That's another feather in the cap for First Baptist Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Deatrick Casablanca was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Timothy De La Rosa, who scored 17 points.
First Baptist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Faith Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
First Baptist Academy will head out on the road to square off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Christian Academy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Faith Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
