Soccer Recap: Sylvan Hills Takes a Loss

Sylvan Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Greenbrier Panthers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Panthers are ranked ninth).

Sylvan Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Greenbrier, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0-1.

Sylvan Hills will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Maumelle at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. Greenbrier will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Vilonia at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st.
